Mr. P.J. Mijnssen
Pieter has been a lawyer since 1995. Since June 2007, he has been a partner with Lexington Attorney's.
Pieter is specialized in employment law. He regularly advises – and if necessary is involved in litigation – on dismissals and employment conditions, also in the context of reorganizations. Pieter has a special interest in de position of board members and employees that participate in the share capital of their employers. He mainly assists businesses and upper echelon employees. Pieter is a member of VAAN (Association of Dutch Employment Lawyers) and graduated from the postdoc Grotius Specialization Course Employment law (cum laude).
To complement his employment law practice, Pieter has a company law and insolvency law practice. He regularly advises and conducts legal proceedings regarding shareholder conflicts, acquisition conflicts and directors' and officers' liability. From time to time Pieter acts as receiver in bankruptcy. He is a member of INSOLAD (Dutch Association of Insolvency Practitioners) and graduated from the postdoc Grotius Specialization Course Insolvency law.
Pieter combines an adequate representation of interests entrusted to him with an ability to relate to his clients. He is a tenacious and sharp, result-oriented negotiator.
